Utilize art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork to help adult and pediatric patients and families explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem in the hospital environment.
Perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care, unit, and environmental tasks.
Masters degree in art therapy required.
Successful completion of an art therapy internship program.
Experience with children, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Art Therapist Registered or Board Certified preferred upon hire.
Required within 12 months of employment.
Start date: April 2025
