Job description

Bravo Art Services is an artist-led business based in North Vancouver (SeaBus-close!) offering professional art installation, delivery, and creative support to galleries, designers, collectors, and artists. We take pride in handling art with care, precision, and joy — mixing technical skill with creative energy.

We’re growing — and we’re looking for someone to grow with us.

This is a part-time summer role (June–August), ideal for someone who enjoys varied work, solving logistical puzzles, and working in a creative, small-business environment.

Some days you’ll assist with installations or wrapping artwork; other days, you’ll help keep things running smoothly through admin tasks, communication, and shop support. You won’t be bored — and you’ll be part of a kind, hardworking team.

We’re looking for someone reliable, resourceful, and curious — someone who cares about doing things right and brings a bit of joy to the process.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with local art deliveries and on-site installations (team-based)
  • Support client communication, scheduling, and email follow-ups
  • Help with logistics, document organization, and light admin
  • Wrap, pack, and prep artworks for transport
  • Keep the studio tidy, tools and materials organized
  • Occasionally assist with framing prep (training provided)
  • Be flexible and ready to roll — plans change fast in the art world, and we do our best work when we adapt with ease. — it’s art, after all :)
Qualifications:
  • Comfortable working on ladders and handling tools — this is a hands-on role, and you’ll need to confidently use basic tools and safely navigate heights when needed
  • Able to lift and carry up to ~50 lbs, with team support for heavier 2D or 3D artworks.
  • Confident communicator — especially in writing, taking calls, or passing on clear info
  • Organized and detail-oriented (especially for scheduling/logistics)
  • Friendly and professional when working with clients or collaborators
  • Experience in art handling, admin, or customer service is a bonus — but not required
  • Driver’s license is a plus, having driven large vans an even bigger plus — though not the deal maker. Art care always comes first.
How to Apply:

Send a resume and short note telling us why this role caught your eye to patrick@bravoartprojects.com. Subject line: Summer Assistant Application

Remuneration:

This is a part-time summer role (June–August), starting at 2–3 days per week at $18/hour, with a paid trial phase and the possibility of extension if it’s a good fit — no pressure either way.
