Our Fortune 100 financial services client’s is seeking an Art Director with a passion for visual storytelling and a strong ability to turn creative concepts into designs that inspire emotion and drive action. This role requires a mix of conceptual thinking, design execution, and collaboration across teams to deliver high-impact creative work.

• Location: Hybrid - Toronto, Canada (4 days per week onsite)
• Duration: Approximately a 12-month consulting role through Blend360 with the possibility of extension

What you’ll do

• Develop and execute visual concepts across multiple mediums including print, digital, audiovisual, experiential, and CRM.
• Translate creative briefs into compelling design solutions that communicate clearly and effectively.
• Work within established brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries to keep designs fresh and engaging.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, incorporating insights and feedback into final work.
• Manage a variety of projects with both short and long timelines, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Present creative work to stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
• Partner with production teams for print and motion to ensure design quality through final delivery.
• Continuously seek new sources of inspiration and bring forward innovative design ideas.
• Build strong relationships and contribute to a positive, collaborative, and inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.

Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Design, Communications, Fine Arts, or equivalent.

Skills:

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
• Strong conceptual and visual storytelling abilities.
• Portfolio that demonstrates attention to detail, conceptual strength, and design versatility.
• Ability to innovate within existing brand systems.
• Skilled in time management with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Experience collaborating with print-production and motion-production teams.
