We are currently recruiting for armed guards (casual position) for our St. John's Newfoundland's branch.

We offer:

• Paid training in Halifax for selected candidates
• Salary $20.54 / hr
• Full uniform (shirts, pants, bulletproof vest, coat etc.)

Responsibilities

• Perform the pickup and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
• Reload or perform minor repairs on ABM (automated banking machine) from various financial institutions
• Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
• Follow established routes and schedules closely
• Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
• Load and unload the armored vehicle
• Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
• Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld

Requirements

• Possess the restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (Possession and Acquisition licence-PAL)
• Own a valid driver's license (Level 5) with a maximum loss of 6 demerit points
• Available for day and night shifts on call (casual position, each month must contain a minimum of four (4), twenty-four (24) hour blocks of availability per month)
• Capable of lifting loads up to 50 lbs
• Available to work on call for evenings, nights, or weekend shifts
• Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
• Customer service oriented
• Highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
• Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of coping with pressure and tight timelines
• Skillful in managing stressful situations
