Job summary

Brink's Incorporated in Ottawa is seeking a Money Room Clerk to handle cash and cheque processing in an armed, security-conscious environment. This role requires strict adherence to Brink's rules to protect people, premises and customers, while maintaining high levels of integrity and safety.

You will process commercial deposits, inbound and outbound bank shipments, cash orders for commercial customers, and ATM replenishments, and you will balance inbound ATM residuals.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shifts throughout the week, weekend & holidays if required.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Possesses strong mathematical skills.
• High degree of manual dexterity.
• Intermediate computer skills; experience with Microsoft Excel is an asset.
• Strong teamwork and personal initiative.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Processing commercial cash, cheque deposits, and coins.
• Processing inbound and outbound bank shipments.
• Preparing cash orders for commercial bank customers.
• Preparing ATM replenishments.
• Processing and balancing inbound ATM residuals.
