Shawnigan Lake School is seeking an Arena Attendant to join our facilities team. This part-time role supports weekend events and daily operations at the Charlie Purdey Arena, delivering cleaning and front-end duties to keep the venue safe, welcoming and well stocked.
You will work 15–20 hours per week, receive $23.81 per hour, and have opportunities for training in ice facility operations. A focus on teamwork, reliability and physical stamina is essential.

The Arena Attendant delivers essential custodial services that maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility for every game, practice, and community event at our Charlie Purdey Arena.
Opportunities may exist for training and career advancement in ice facility operations including Ice Facility Operator (IFO) through provided coursing and provincial examination.
Appointment: Permanent appointment. Part‑time 15‑20 hours per week.
Compensation: $23.81 per hour.
Start Date: Immediate (consideration for a later start date may be given).
This role will work as a member of our Arena team under the supervision of the Arena Manager. Shifts will primarily be on weekends. Flexibility is key as shifts may fluctuate based on the operational needs of the School.
