Job Overview: The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a strong understanding of automation solutions and a passion for building lasting relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
    1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
    2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the designated area.
    3. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  2. Client Management:
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including engineers, procurement managers, and decision-makers.
    2. Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process, from initial contact to post-sales follow-up.
    3. Address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Product Expertise:
    1. Demonstrate a deep understanding of Robot Units' modular automation products and solutions.
    2. Present and articulate product benefits and technical specifications to clients.
    3. Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions to meet client needs.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status.
  5. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  6. Utilize CRM tools to track progress and manage customer relationships effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the industrial automation or related technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of modular automation systems and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
