  • Facility and Work Location- Brampton West - Kitchener / Waterloo / Cambridge, Milton, Georgetown, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga and Etobicoke.
  • Secondment End Date : August 31st 2026

About This Opportunity

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for continuous growth of Revenue and Gross Profit objectives within all Channels. They are responsible for the communication, planning and execution of business strategies.

They are also responsible for creating and implementing the organization's sales strategy and goals designed to increase sales, profits and market share for an assigned territory. Supervising activities of sales force including customer service, training, preparation of sales forecasts and managing operational expenses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and nurture a team of district sales managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within our channels selling organization.
  • Lead team to ensure excellent implementation of Coke Canada's marketing initiatives, successful introduction of new products, maintenance of the Look of Success (LOS) and adherence to customer marketing agreements (CMA's).
  • Develop Sales Execution Leads to enhance customer service levels while efficiently managing operational expenses within budgetary limits, thereby achieving Customer Excellence targets.
  • Build robust partnerships with key Customers' District Managers, ensuring adherence to sales agreements and fostering collaboration on key business initiatives.
  • Engage in constructive business discussions with customers regularly, aligning on strategic initiatives and driving mutual growth.
  • Collaborate with national and regional sales teams, sharing feedback and insights to enhance field execution and contribute to overall profitability.
  • Track and report progress to ensure that programs are being executed and goals are achieved.
  • Work in a collaborative environment, sharing the best practices of the trade.
  • Uphold the highest company standards and integrity, safeguarding our values in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a business-related discipline or equivalent
  • Demonstrated 5+ years of impactful sales leadership, exemplifying consistent growth and achieving remarkable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and empower successful leaders who epitomize our company values.
  • Ability to mentor and guide indirect reports, ensuring their capabilities align with and support the needs of Field Sales.
  • Posses a thorough understanding of the food and beverage industry, ideally managing creative teams and executing sales and marketing strategies with excellence.
  • Possess intermediate computer and database skills
  • Prior experience in customer management, with the ability to implement effective sales and marketing strategies.
