Position Overview

An Area Sales Manager is responsible for disrupting the dialysis market while selling a clinically and financially superior MedTech solution in Tablo. This role requires expert knowledge in the capital sales process, building advocate teams within facilities, strong solution selling skills, and the ability to drive change and meet sales objectives consistently. The role involves strategic discovery, executive engagement, project urgency, and solution selling at all levels of healthcare organizations.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Create healthy tension to disrupt the status quo.
  2. Follow a defined and complex sales process with an average cycle of 6-9 months.
  3. Build clinical, financial, technical, and administrative sponsorship through industry knowledge and strategic discovery.
  4. Build support from Nephrologists and Medical Officers.
  5. Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales within an assigned territory.
  6. Develop expert knowledge of Dialysis.
  7. Make the economic case for Tablo with a robust ROI.
  8. Ensure adherence to Quality policies.
  9. Negotiate complex contracts including software, IT provisions, cybersecurity, and business agreements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years sales experience in healthcare capital selling, meeting and exceeding budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications

  • 10 years sales experience in disruptive MedTech.
  • Experience selling Software Analytics and EMR integration.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
  • 3 years Sales Leadership experience.
  • Experience selling in disruptive environments and influencing behavior change.

Base Salary : $125,000 + Commissions : $211,600 = OTE $336,600
