Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations, team performance, and guest satisfaction across four hospitality units in North Dublin. This leadership role ensures each site maintains high standards in service, profitability, and compliance, while aligning with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership

  • Manage day-to-day operations across all four units, ensuring consistency and excellence in service delivery.
  • Implement and uphold standard operating procedures (SOP's) and brand standards.
  • Monitor operational KPI's and take corrective action where performance is below target.

People Management

  • Lead, motivate, and develop unit managers and their teams.
  • Conduct regular site visits and performance reviews.
  • Ensure all training is up to date.
  • Drive a positive and accountable team culture focused on hospitality and service excellence.
  • Review attendance/schedules/holidays on a weekly basis
  • Oversee budgetary control, forecasting, and financial performance of each unit.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue and reduce costs.
  • Review and analyse P&L reports, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.

Guest Experience

  • Ensure consistent delivery of excellent guest service and satisfaction across all venues.
  • Address escalated customer issues and implement long-term service improvements.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure all units comply with health & safety, food hygiene, and licensing regulations.
  • Lead regular audits and follow up on corrective actions.

Strategic Contribution

  • Contribute to regional growth strategies, marketing campaigns, and new business initiatives.
  • Lead or support opening of new units or refurbishment projects as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in multi-site management within the hospitality industry (hotels, restaurants, or similar).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of guest service standards and operational excellence.
  • Flexibility to travel between units and work varied hours as needed.

Must have:

  • 5+ years of management experience in a hospitality setting, with at least 2 years in multi-site operations.
