DHL Express currently has an opening for an Area Operations Manager for the Prairies Region. You will lead and direct all phases of the Company’s Operations within the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta, ensuring that performance objectives, as detailed by the strategic plan, cost controls, and revenue targets are met. This leader will also act as a proactive member of the Sales resource team in providing Customer service solutions.
Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Ground Operations for DHL Express Canada and based in Calgary, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of local Operations. You will identify and recommend process or cost improvements and execute the Operations strategy for your area. Responsibilities include proposing and influencing business solutions, expanding ecommerce tool usage, managing telecoms, and handling recovery procedures in case of IT incidents.
You will play an active role in supporting the Director of Engineering and Ground Operations and your colleagues as a member of the Canadian Operations Leadership team.
