The Area Manager for the Aggregate Division will oversee the efficient management of aggregate production, distribution, and operations within a designated geographical area. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

1. Manage and supervise all aggregate operations, including production, distribution, and delivery of materials, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
2. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors, operators, and staff across multiple sites.
3. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
4. Oversee daily operations, staffing, equipment management, and inventory control.
5. Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic growth and efficiency plans.
6. Monitor and report on performance metrics such as productivity, costs, and safety.
7. Maintain positive relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
8. Manage health and safety programs to promote a zero-accident culture.
9. Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to sustain productivity and safety.

Qualifications

1. Proven management experience in the aggregate or civil construction industry (5+ years preferred).
2. Strong knowledge of aggregate production, operations, and distribution.
3. Experience managing teams and multiple sites.
4. Understanding of safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
8. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally.
