Hydro One Networks Inc. is offering a 4-month temporary student opportunity in Ontario for an Area Distribution Engineering Technician. You will support engineering investigations, prepare layouts, sketches for crossings, and assist with staking, permits, and customer coordination.

A valid driver’s license and enrollment in Electrical or Civil Tech programs are required. The role provides hands-on experience in a utility environment, daily office attendance, and opportunities to learn from

Competenze

• Enrolled in Electrical or Civil Engineering Tech, minimum 1st year.
• Must have valid G2 class driver’s license.
• Must be returning to full-time post-secondary studies after the work term.

Mansioni

• Assist with engineering investigations for new connections and upgrades.
• Prepare sketches and details for crossings and joint-use coordination.
• Carry out staking data and prepare job estimates.
• Complete meter changes and readings as required.
