Job description

POSITION TITLE: CCEM Area Coordinator

Effective Date: When the appropriate person is identified

Position Summary: To provide connections, leadership, and support for the growth and development of CCEM in a specific area of Canada, typically a geographical section within a province.

Pay Grade and Funding: Volunteer / Donor Support / Stipend

Reporting Relationships: Reports to: Provincial Directors or Project Director(s) depending on area.
Supervises: Volunteers recruited to CCEM.
Relates to: All CCEM Associates, Church Taskforces, the CCEM Steering Committee, TeachBeyond Global Service providers, and the Project Support Team coordinator.

Status: 16-24 hours/week

Location: Living in the area of service with significant work done remotely.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum undergraduate degree in Education, Business Administration, Theology, or Biblical Studies.
  • Experience as a Teacher, Principal, or Coordinator in educational, business, or non-profit sectors.
  • Experience leading volunteer teams and supporting entrepreneurial leaders.
  • Participation in parent associations, school boards, or church boards.
  • Exposure to various educational models and mediums.
  • Technical skills in online meeting tools (TEAMS & Zoom), Office 365, social media, and customer response systems (Bitrix).
  • Networking, relationship-building, interpersonal, presentation skills, and mature Christian experience.

Essential Functions:

  • Support churches, parents, and organizations in Christ-centered educational initiatives.
  • Pray for the Canadian Church and educational initiatives.
  • Represent CCEM professionally to stakeholders.
  • Regularly connect with Church Taskforces and the Provincial Steering Committee.
  • Serve as an ex-officio board member on select projects.
  • Maintain CRM (Bitrix) data integrity.
  • Build relationships with like-minded organizations.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs and Outcomes.
  • Visit CCEM projects regularly.
  • Collaborate with the Global Organizational Development department.

Eight Month Deliverables:

  • Motivate local Church Taskforces to launch at least one Christ-centered educational initiative.
  • Represent CCEM at 2 educational conferences.
  • Conduct 4 site visits to churches or parent groups.
  • Catalyze 2 new Church-based Educational Taskforces.
  • Administer 2 surveys with the National Steering Committee.

12 Month Deliverables:

  • Establish 1 new MOA Associate organization.
  • Complete 4 additional site visits.

General Expectations: Participate actively in the local church, personal growth, and ongoing learning. Attend all mandatory CCEM and TeachBeyond meetings and conferences.

Physical Demands & Work Environment: Regularly required to stand, sit, operate computers, telephones, and copiers. Vision and mobility required for diverse settings. Light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs.) and travel, including overnight and long-distance flying, are periodically necessary.
