Job description

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and encourage optimal performance of direct reports, including training.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing strategic sales and branch budget plans aligned with corporate goals.
  3. Deliver sales presentations to key clients in coordination with Branch and District Managers.
  4. Assist Branch Managers in maintaining client relationships and negotiating deals.
  5. Plan sales strategies and identify growth opportunities, including client base expansion.
  6. Review and approve pricing structures for local and regional customer proposals.
  7. Manage branch resources to meet productivity and efficiency benchmarks.
  8. Review sales territories with Branch and District Managers.
  9. Address personnel issues requiring management decisions.
  10. Participate actively as a member of the Executive Committee.
  11. Ensure compliance with Sonepar’s health, safety, and environmental policies and applicable legislation.
  12. Participate in safety management systems, including training, audits, and safety meetings.
  13. Identify, control, and report workplace hazards, following WHMIS/TDG requirements.
  14. Report workplace injuries and participate in return-to-work programs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of management experience.
  • College or University diploma (Business-related preferred).
  • Courses in Sales/Marketing are an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
