Job summary

A leading Arctic service provider is seeking an Oil Boiler Mechanic to operate and maintain heating systems at CFS Alert, the northernmost settlement in the world. The successful candidate will need a Red Seal certification and experience with oil‑fired systems. Benefits include a Fly‑In Fly‑Out schedule, isolation allowances, and a robust benefits package. Qualifications

• Must have oil furnace maintenance experience.
• Eligible for security clearance and pre-employment medical.
• Possess a valid passport for overnight stay in Thule, Greenland.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heating systems for the CFS Alert.
• Perform preventative maintenance on heating systems and controls.
• Resolve outages and respond to equipment failures.

Skills

Red Seal Oil Burner Mechanic or Oil Heat Systems Technician Certification

Demonstrated experience working on oil‑fired burners, boilers, hot water heaters

Experience with Riello RL Burners

Ability to work cross‑culturally

Strong team player mindset

Education

4th Class Power Engineer preferred
