Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Architecture & Design Canada Inc is seeking an Architecture Operations Manager to lead office operations, staff coordination, and a high-impact practice across Canada.

The role focuses on growing client relationships, pursuing opportunities, mentoring teams, and delivering complex projects with multidisciplinary groups within a hybrid work environment. Ideally, candidates have an architecture degree and Ontario track record.

Qualifications

• A degree in Architecture and registration as an Architect with the OAA is required; a degree in Planning and registration as a professional planner would be a strong asset.
• 15+ years of experience as a registered architect leading institutional and other highly complex projects, practice operations, or business development.
• Experience leading office operations, staff management, and multidisciplinary team coordination in a professional services environment.
• Strong institutional project experience, with a proven history in Ontario working with clients and contractors on highly complex projects; healthcare and life sciences experience is an asset.
• Proven success in client development, RFP responses, proposals, and interviews.

Overview

This role is part of AtkinsRéalis Architecture & Design Canada Inc, bringing together expertise in architectural design and project delivery across Canada.

We are seeking an Architecture Operations Manager to help grow an architectural and master planning practice. This role is suited to a high-caliber professional with strong operational discipline, market credibility, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. The role is central to office leadership, staff development, client growth, and proposal delivery. The successful candidate will bring strong institutional project experience, a proven Ontario track record, and the confidence to lead highly complex projects with multidisciplinary teams.

Additional information

Expected compensation for this role is between $120,000 - $145,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
