About the Role :

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will work under a licensed architect, providing an excellent opportunity to gain supervised experience and work toward your architectural designation. Your focus will be on residential projects, ensuring compliance with building codes while delivering high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to residential projects from design development through to construction.
  • Create detailed construction drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Conduct research on building materials, codes, and construction methods.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Assist in project coordination and liaise with engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Support the architect in design development, permitting, and construction administration.

Qualifications :

  • Architectural technologist diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in residential construction.
  • Proficiency (5+ years) in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and other design tools (SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of building codes and construction methods.
  • Excellent written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
