Role description:

Arcadis Calgary office is searching for an Architectural Technologist to join its growing Government and Civic Practice Group. You will support design development, working drawings, and detailing. The successful candidate will have a robust portfolio of details and construction documents, demonstrating a range of projects and a holistic understanding of the design process. We seek an out-of-the-box thinker with talent for developing creative detailing solutions. We are committed to fostering a professional, collaborative, and dynamic work environment. The successful candidate can work hybrid or from home but must be located within one hour of Calgary.

Role accountabilities:

• Prepare working drawings for various projects using Revit
• Prepare documentation including design development, building permits, and tender packages
• Coordinate architectural and engineering disciplines with external consultants to produce high-quality, well-coordinated construction documents
• Support design and production teams

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma in Architectural Technology
• 2-7 years of experience in an architectural firm
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Revit and Microsoft Office
• Experience with project coordination and meeting tight deadlines
• Portfolio of work in PDF (under 10MB) or a web link

Salary Range:

$65,000 - $95,000, based on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
