Job summary

EBC is seeking a motivated Reality Capture / Drone Pilot to support surveying and infrastructure projects across Ontario. The role involves frequent travel to project sites to capture UAV imagery, LiDAR, and reality capture data, operating safely under Transport Canada rules, and assisting with deliverables.

Qualifications

• Valid G-class driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel across Ontario, including overnight stays.
• Advanced or Basic RPAS Pilot Certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Experience operating DJI or similar drone platforms and related field data collection.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively throughout Ontario to conduct drone and reality capture missions.
• Operate UAVs safely and in compliance with Transport Canada regulations.
• Capture aerial imagery, videos, photogrammetry, LiDAR and reality capture datasets.
• Conduct pre-flight planning, site assessments, risk evaluations and equipment checks.
• Establish survey control and coordinate with survey crews and project managers.
• Maintain field records and project documentation.
• Upload, organize and transfer collected data to processing teams.
• Represent the company professionally at client sites.

We are seeking a motivated Reality Capture / Drone Pilot to support surveying, engineering, infrastructure, and construction projects across Ontario. This position involves frequent travel to project sites to capture high-quality drone, imagery, LiDAR, and reality capture data. The successful candidate will operate UAV equipment safely, collect accurate field data, and assist with project documentation and deliverables.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Valid G-class driver's licence with a clean driving record.
• Ability and willingness to travel throughout Ontario, including overnight travel when required.
• Advanced or Basic RPAS Pilot Certificate (or ability to obtain one).
• Experience operating DJI or similar drone platforms.
• Strong understanding of field data collection practices.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather and site conditions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with reality capture, photogrammetry, LiDAR, or surveying.
• Familiarity with Trimble, Leica or other survey equipment.
• Knowledge of Civil 3D, TBC, DJI Terra, Pix4D, Metashape or similar software.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, transportation, utility or construction projects.
• Ability to travel regularly across Ontario.
• Ability to lift and carry field equipment.
• Comfortable working in active construction and industrial environments.
• 4 weeks' of annual vacation;
