TalentSphere is pleased to be working with a smaller architectural firm based in Gatineau Ottawa region run by Principals in a relaxed working environment. The office is bright and modern, and they seek a bilingual Revit-based architectural designer or soon-to-be licensed architect who enjoys project variety ranging from social housing, schools, offices, research facilities, hospital laboratories, warehouses, and daycare facilities. This is a pleasant firm that rewards loyalty and seeks someone eager to do A-Z work and become a senior leader.

Seeking

• Recently fully licensed OAA or OAQ Architect (Master of Architecture degree); or soon be fully licensed; or an architectural designer with 4+ years experience in local building code working alongside licensed architects and technologists.
• Revit-based designer with a portfolio of work that reflects diversity in projects.
• Preference to candidates experienced in dealing with multiple subconsultants; familiar with the typical flow of architecture design and construction.
• Good communication skills; bilingual (French-English); ability to confidently convert drawings and discussions with stakeholders into functional designs in a timely manner.
• Experience dealing with consultants; mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, structural engineers.
• Big plus if experienced in making presentations, proposals; being client-facing and part of a collaborative team effort.
• A desire to grow professionally, displaying creativity and innovation by continually working to improve solutions, tools, methods, and service delivery systems.
