The Job
As an Architectural Designer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing a wide range of architectural designs in collaboration with clients and the design team, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence
• Staying updated with current design trends, building systems, and presentation techniques to enhance skills and apply them to projects
• Preparing and coordinating presentation materials to ensure comprehensive and accurate documentation
• Conducting programming, code research, material and building systems research, site surveys, and field reviews, including layout planning and area calculations
• Collaborating with the design and production teams, as well as project leads, to coordinate design through all project phases

Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess:

• A completed post-secondary education related to architecture, such as a Bachelor's in Architecture or a Diploma in Architectural Technology
• At least 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a minimum of 3 years within North America
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating expertise across all design phases
• Proficiency in design and rendering software, including Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop; additional programs are a plus
• Experience in architectural presentation
• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with hospitality, commercial, residential, or similar projects is preferred
• Ability to coordinate with team members and collaborate across disciplines

The role involves working on all project aspects from initial client contact to execution, emphasizing design development and delivery. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and project success.
