OUR CLIENT

A great opportunity exists with a well-established Architecture firm for a creative and motivated Architectural Designer. This firm has a good reputation and produces high-quality projects across multi-family, commercial, hospitality, and other sectors.

THE JOB

As an Architectural Designer, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing a wide range of architectural designs in collaboration with clients and design teams, ensuring they meet quality standards, project timelines, and budget requirements.
• Staying current with design trends, building systems, and presentation techniques to enhance skills and apply them to projects.
• Preparing and coordinating presentation materials to ensure complete and accurate project documentation.
• Performing programming, code research, material and building systems research, site surveys, and field reviews, including laying out program components and calculating project areas.
• Collaborating with the design and production teams, as well as project leads, to coordinate the design through all project phases.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

To be considered, candidates should have:

• Successfully completed an architectural-related post-secondary education, such as a Bachelor's in Architecture or a diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of experience in architectural design, with a minimum of 3 years in North America.
• An impressive portfolio demonstrating expertise across all design phases.
• Proficiency in design and rendering software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop; knowledge of additional programs is a plus.
• Experience in architectural presentation.
• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with hospitality, commercial, residential, or similar typologies is preferred.
• The ability to coordinate with team members and collaborate across disciplines.

You will be involved in all project stages, from initial client contact to full execution, with a focus on design development and delivery. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective teamwork and project success.
