Job summary

University of Toronto is hiring a Sessional Lecturer I/II/III in the Daniels Faculty to teach architectural design courses at the undergraduate/graduate level. Responsibilities include delivering course content, managing digital materials, and evaluating student work.

Minimum qualifications require a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture with professional design experience; teaching experience is preferred and considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (or related design discipline) and relevant professional experience in design.
• Demonstrated ability to teach architectural design at undergraduate or graduate level (preferred).
• Professional degree in architecture and a record of teaching design will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings required by program director and prepare and deliver course material.
• Manage digital teaching materials, assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred exams.
• Mark student work, submit grades, and handle student inquiries, appeals and petitions.
