Job summary

NEUF architectes in Montreal is seeking an intermediate to senior architect to join our team. In direct collaboration with a partner architect, you will actively contribute to a variety of institutional, commercial, and residential projects.

You will participate in all project phases from programming to delivery, ensuring schedules, budgets, and objectives are met, while coordinating client communications and the overall project with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in architecture and licensure with the Ordre des architectes du Québec.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in an architecture firm.
• Strong knowledge of the National Building Code and Revit/Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all project phases from programming to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets and objectives are met.
• Coordinate client communications to understand, structure, and document functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee overall project coordination between internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders.
• Oversee preparation of plans aligning with client needs, building codes, and environmental considerations.
• Develop the design of plans and specifications.
• Produce technical construction details.
• Maintain professionalism with clients and provide recommendations and guidance.
• Coordinate and prepare technical documents, specifications, tenders, and presentations.
• Act as main client liaison for general matters with clear communication among stakeholders.
• Oversee construction work ensuring quality control and adherence to schedule and budget.

En collaboration directe avec un architecte associé, tu seras impliqué activement dans la réalisation de projets variés institutionnels, commerciaux, résidentiels.

TON QUOTIDIEN

• Participer à l’ensemble des phases des projets, de la programmation à la livraison, en assurant le respect des échéanciers, des budgets et des objectifs établis;
• Coordonner les échanges avec les clients afin de comprendre, structurer et documenter les besoins fonctionnels, techniques et réglementaires ;
• Assurer la coordination globale des projets entre les équipes internes, les consultants et les autres intervenants (ingénieurs, entrepreneurs, fournisseurs, autorités);
• Superviser l’élaboration des plans en tenant compte des besoins du client, des normes de construction et des enjeux environnementaux ;
• Élaborer la conception des plans et devis ;
• Élaborer la production de détails techniques de construction ;
• Maintenir une attitude professionnelle auprès des clients et mettre en œuvre des pratiques exemplaires en fournissant ses recommandations, informations et conseils ;
• Coordonner et préparer la production des documents techniques, des devis, soumissions et des présentations ;
• Agir comme personne-ressource auprès des clients pour les questions générales et assurer une communication claire et efficace avec tous les intervenants du projet ;
• Assurer le suivi des travaux de construction en s’assurant du contrôle de la qualité et du respect de l’échéancier et du budget, selon les normes de NEUF architectes et du client.

• Coordinate client communications in order to understand, structure, and document functional, technical, and regulatory requirements ;
• Oversee overall project coordination between internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders (engineers, contractors, suppliers, and authorities) ;
• Oversee the preparation of plans while ensuring alignment with client needs, building codes, and environmental considerations ;
• Develop the design of plans and specifications ;
• Produce technical construction details ;
• Maintain a professional attitude with clients and apply best practices by providing recommendations, information, and guidance ;
• Coordinate and prepare the production of technical documents, specifications, tenders, and presentations ;
• Act as the main client liaison for general matters while ensuring clear, consistent, and effective communication among all project stakeholders ;
• Oversee construction work, ensuring quality control and compliance with the schedule and budget, in accordance with NEUF’s standards and those of the client.

PROFIL

• Maîtrise en architecture ;
• Membre de l’Ordre des architectes du Québec ;
• Minimum de 8-10 ans d’expériences pertinentes au sein d’une firme d’architecture ;
• Bonne connaissance du Code national du bâtiment ;
• Excellentes connaissances des logiciels Revit/Bluebeam.
