NEUF architect(e)s is currently seeking an intermediate architect to join its team in Montreal.
Reporting to the Partner Architect and as part of a collaborative team, the intermediate architect will work on a variety of residential projects.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of a project, from initial conception to final completion, on time and on budget.
- Coordinate the functional and technical program and requirements definition with the customer;
- Develop plans taking into account customer needs, construction standards and environmental issues;
- Design plans and specifications;
- Produce technical construction details;
- Maintain a professional attitude with customers and implement best practices by providing recommendations, information and advice;
- Coordinate and prepare the production of technical documents, specifications, bids and presentations;
- Prepare weekly tasks and deliverables to be forwarded to the project team;
- Assist the site project manager during the construction phase.
- Monitor construction work, ensuring quality control and adherence to schedule and budget, in accordance with NEUF architectes and client standards;
- Ensure clear and effective communication with all project stakeholders.
Profil
Skills
- Master in Architecture
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience with an architectural firm
- Good knowledge of the National Building Code
- Excellent knowledge of Revit software
- Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service
