Overview

We are looking for an exceptional Infrastructure Solutions Architect that will be responsible for designing and implementing complex network infrastructures, with a primary focus on Project Exodus. This project involves studying the feasibility of migrating Blue systems from Azure regions to a private cloud offering or other providers. The role requires developing a streamlined and efficient architecture to minimize expenses while improving system performance.

What you will do

• Provides IT / datacenter architecture solutions in support of the Explorance SaaS platform and products
• Work with CloudOps and engineering team to define best practices and processes as appropriate to support the entire infrastructure lifecycle: Plan, Build, Deploy, and Operate, including automation of lifecycle activities such as orchestration, provisioning, and configuration management
• Lead and define analysis for infrastructure design, capacity planning, monitoring and operational requirements
• Provide project leadership and ownership over all aspects of service delivery
• Closely partner with development team to assess feasibility, complexity and scope of new capabilities and solutions
• Collaborate with the CloudIT, security and network teams to deliver and ensure consistent solution design and integration
• Ensure that all capabilities delivered align with original business objectives, service levels, IT strategies and design intent
• Prepare technical documentation of infrastructure delivery as well as project entry / exit gates for design, integration testing, deployment and operations

• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft environments (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Windows Server)
• Experience with virtualization platforms, preferably Hyper-V
• Experience with data protection software for virtual, physical and cloud infrastructures (e.g., Veeam)
• Expert knowledge of Storage Area Networks (SAN)
• Experience with web application environments, including TCP / IP, TLS, HTTP, DNS, routing, load balancing, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of networks, firewall systems, and routing protocols
• Proficient with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Bash
• Hands-on experience with high availability web architecture and technologies
• Prior hands-on troubleshooting experience of complex system problems, including capacity planning and performance tuning, reliability, or high availability initiatives
• Experience with centralized logging services and backup systems
• Minimum of 10 years of in-depth knowledge and experience in private and public cloud
• Ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environment and bring innovative ideas
• Experience deploying and managing web applications, with a proven track record
• Experience with production environment compliance, certifications, and audits, including security
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure and networking security concepts
