What will your day-to-day look like?

  • Support Digital Transformation in leading teams to build DT solutions aligned with the P&WC’s PLM roadmap.
  • Implement DT solutions within P&WC organizations within the PLM Landscape including integration with other major DT applications, such as Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience, SAP and Solumina.
  • Implement solutions in alignment with DT Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Cyber Security constraints, establish best practices and standards and ensure they are respected by 3rd party vendors and developers involved in the implementation of digital solutions.
  • Play the role of Solution Architect for the implementation of PLM solutions in support of the projects mentioned above. As such, you will drive the review of business requirements with Product Owners; document/analyze the specifications for modification of PLM systems (functional specs, data model, and interfaces); work with the Scrum team and support the project manager (PM) for project plan definition and execution.
  • Document and present Solution Architecture documents to Architecture Review Boards (ARB); support the PM to document Project Gate Review deliverables (cutover plan, cybersecurity scans and mitigations, test plans, EA/ARB approvals, support plan).
  • Ensure that project specifications are aligned with the overall PLM architecture, as defined by the PLM Competency Center.
  • Participate in developing a coherent PLM S/W strategy with the PLM Competency and Enterprise architecture resources for inclusion in the P&WC roadmap.
  • Leverage the DEVOPS methodology to shorten the time to Market of the PLM solutions.

What do you need to be successful?

  • A bachelor’s degree with 5+ years’ experience.
  • Experience in a Solution Architect role, leading developers, including use of offshore development teams.
  • Experience in Solution Architecture, S/W architecture, implementation and validation.
  • Experience in building responsive web applications with modern technologies (SPA Front-end, API back-end endpoints, container platform (Openshift), Message Queueing).
  • Experience in working in Agile frameworks (Scrum) and with DevOps practices (Jira, TFS, Confluence, Github).
  • You are acknowledged as full-stack application developer with knowledge in the following languages, frameworks: Vue.js (or equivalent, Angular, React), Java (Play Framework or Spring Boot), JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js (Express or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of PLM and experience with a leading commercial PLM platform. Knowledge of Dassault Systèmes 3DExperience platform is a plus (CATIA, VPM, Enovia).

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
