POSITION - ARCHITECT - HEALTHCARE PROJECTS

LOCATION - WESTERN CANADA

Role description:

We have an opportunity in Western Canada for an Architect to join our Healthcare Team. The successful candidate will provide design leadership on various projects. Oversee the design process and assist as a technical expert and resource for this specialized field! This is a unique opportunity to join a cohesive group of design and architectural specialists who have carved out a reputation for creating flexible spaces that can adapt to the evolving needs of healthcare services and incorporate technology to enhance patient care.

Role accountabilities:

  • Lead and contribute to the healthcare project design process through the creation of design concepts, presentation materials, and submission documentation. Focus will be on meeting or exceeding our clients' needs, regulatory practices, and healthcare design best practices
  • Work with technical and contract administration staff to produce successful design development and contract documentation in alignment with standards of quality, client program, and budget needs, including coordinating project specifications and ensuring overall design intent
  • Lead or participate with multi-disciplinary project teams related to projects, ensuring delivery of quality projects while meeting or exceeding Arcadis' commercial objectives
  • Build positive relationships with internal and external teams and stakeholders. At Arcadis, we work with multi-disciplinary Teams
  • Be a design and technical resource for the project teams
  • Be able to travel about 25% of the time to meet clients or to go to project sites

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in the field of healthcare architecture
  • Licensed Architect - Registration with a provincial regulatory board is a must
  • Experience managing and mentoring a team consisting of Architects, Technologists, and Designers
  • Experience in working with internal and external multi-disciplinary Teams and stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills related to working within a Revit environment

The salary range for this position is $80,126 to $126,830. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
