Job summary

Finney-Taylor Consulting Group Ltd. in Edmonton seeks a Senior Digital Architect (TOGAF) to lead architectural direction across multiple applications and domains.

The role focuses on defining roadmaps, standards, and reusable components while mentoring developers and technical leads. The ideal candidate will have a TOGAF certification, a degree in computer science, and hands-on experience with Azure Red Hat OpenShift, cloud architectures, and cross-functional agile teams in a consulting

Qualifications

• Experience architecting, managing, and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.

Responsibilities

• Develop current-state and target-state architecture roadmaps across business, application, data, integration, security, and technology domains.
• Defining architecture principles, standards, patterns, guardrails, and reusable components.
• Producing architecture artifacts including solution designs, integration models, decision records, technical assessments, and implementation roadmaps.

Our client is looking for a Digital Architect ( TOGAF) to join their team.

Must Have Primary Skills :

• College or Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study.
• Certification in The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF).
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional agile product teams, providing architectural direction, and mentoring developers and technical leads.
• Experience architecting, managing, and maintaining Azure Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Experience identifying and assessing requirements within multiple architecture domains e.g. business, application, technology, data/information, security, and privacy.

Nice To Have Secondary Skills :

• Collaborate with data architects, engineers and analysts to design and optimize cloud architecture and services.
• Experience in contributing or developing application architecture standards and guidelines.
• Experience working as an application architect designing or maintaining solutions that use enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) hub architecture registries.

Proven Experience In :

The Senior Digital Architect will be required on a full-time basis (7.25-hour workday), working across multiple applications, projects, operational initiatives, and strategic technology priorities. Services and project deliverables should evolve as the work progresses in response to emerging business needs, operational priorities, technical opportunities, and modernization objectives.
