A leading Canadian architecture and design firm is seeking a passionate Architect or Architectural Technician/Technologist to contribute to institutional projects for public sector clients. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree, relevant experience, and proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD. We are looking for a candidate who stands out for their passion for architecture and who, as an Architect or Architectural Technician or Technologist, will apply this passion to institutional projects for public sector clients. This role involves working as part of a team and leveraging a diverse set of skills to carry out tasks such as:
What you will accomplish with us:
Assist the design team throughout all stages and phases of project development (feasibility studies, programming, concepts, preliminary design, plans, and specifications);
Produce presentation drawings;
Illustrate execution details in line with the project’s conceptual intentions;
Support the project and/or design lead in coordinating with other project stakeholders;
Research and select appropriate products, materials, techniques, and technologies.
A Master’s degree in architecture;
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;
Proficiency in Revit and/or AutoCAD software;
A good understanding of BIM-related architectural challenges (an asset);
Solid knowledge of the Quebec Construction Code;
Proficiency in spoken and written French (English and other languages are an asset);
Strong teamwork skills, combined with autonomy and proactivity;
Membership status with the Ordre des architectes du Québec.
