We are seeking an ambitious, proactive individual with sales experience or industry background to join us as an A&D Representative.

Your role will involve cultivating relationships and promoting product specifications within the Vancouver & Victoria design and architecture community. Responsibilities include organizing meetings with interior designers and architects, attending industry events, and showcasing Buckwold Western samples and products. Success will be measured by the growth in BC sales through increased product specifications.

The position requires:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of our product lines, including latest tones, colors, and design trends.
  • Communicate these effectively to designers, emphasizing how they can enhance their projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, and design firms.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable advisor on our products and services to align with project needs.
  • Host product meetings at designers' offices.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the architecture and design sector.
  • Attend industry events and trade shows as scheduled.
  • Present, educate, and engage designers to specify Buckwold Western products.
  • Expand our client base into new markets outside the lower mainland.

Ideal Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of sales experience; industry or A&D sales experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural and interior design trends.
  • Excellent customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Reliable vehicle.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Business, or Commerce preferred but not required.
  • Valid BC driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Valid passport in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary: $65,000 to $100,000 annually plus commissions, based on experience.
