Job summary

Cineplex is seeking an Amusement Technician to perform maintenance, testing and repairs on gaming equipment to meet industry standards. You will install, maintain, and repair gaming systems and related hardware, with duties extending to other building equipment as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, precision, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with some shifts outside normal hours to support installations and repairs.

Qualifications

• A minimum college diploma in Electronics or similar fields.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in related field.
• Experience with gaming equipment repairs.
• Experience in diagnosing and using preventative measures for gaming equipment.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.
• May be required to work outside of operating hours to support installations, deliveries, removal or repair of games with others.

Responsibilities

• Execute the repair of gaming equipment.
• Execute preventative maintenance program for gaming machines.
• Install supports, software and working ability of gaming equipment.
• Remove and replace worn components and reactivate gaming systems.
• Provide occasional guidance to the primary function of others, including training.
• Conduct preventative maintenance diagnostics.
• Complete repairs to equipment, and all other services that the machine requires.
