Brentwood Bay Resort’s Lodge Kitchen & Bar in Brentwood Bay, BC, is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to join a high-volume, luxury resort kitchen. You’ll work alongside the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef to lead a team of about 20, help develop menus, manage cost and inventory, and mentor cooks during service.
The role requires at least 3 years in a busy kitchen, leadership experience, strong food-safety practices, and a hands-on, collaborative approach.

The Lodge Kitchen & Bar is not your typical pub.
Serving up to 200-300 guests during peak periods, our kitchen combines the standards of luxury resort dining with the energy and camaraderie of a bustling pub. Guests frequently line up before opening, drawn by our vibrant atmosphere, exceptional food, and iconic waterfront patio.
As Sous Chef, you’ll work alongside the Chef de Cuisine and Executive Chef to help lead a culinary team of approximately 20 employees. You’ll supervise and mentor cooks during service, contribute to menu development, support cost and inventory management, and help create an environment where people can do their best work.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and is ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
