Job description

JOB SUMMARY : Anis responsible forassisting the crew with site maintenance and clean-up in addition to operating and maintaining maintenance equipment.This is an entry level position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Compensation : $20.00 - $25.00 an hour, dependent on experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

Committed to working safely (fit for work), supporting a positive and productive team environment.

Capable of performing physically demanding manual labour in all weather conditions.

Loads and unloads trucks with logs, stumps, brush, and debris and / or feeds brush into a woodchipper.

Performs site set-up and take down including unloading and loading equipment; setting up barriers / warning flags; and keeping the site picked up and orderly.

Perform other job-related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements :

A High School Diploma or higher.

Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record, air brakes endorsement a plus.

Ability to work as a crew member in a physically demanding environment.

Motivated to work both independently and as a team member and with good time management.

Ability to operate and service all required tools and equipment.

Working around excessive noise from machines, chainsaws, woodchipper and must wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ability to work long hours and overtime during emergencies (including holidays, weekends, storm work) and will be subject to call-out work.

Must have valid First-Aid and CPR certificates.
