Our client a leading tree care provider in Guelph Cambridge and Kitchener is urgently seeking two skilled Arborists to join their team. They are looking for a strong candidate to manage a crew of three climbers and deliver exceptional tree care services. Salary :

30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Hours of Work :

Monday to Friday 7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm (as late as 3 : 30pm) (40 hours a week)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of three climbers ensuring safe and efficient operations.
• Perform tree pruning removals and health assessments using buckets trucks and grapple saws (also cranes with training).
• Operate and maintain arborist equipment including chainsaws chippers and aerial lifts.
• Provide expert advice to clients ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations at all times.
• Support tree planting transplanting and other arboriculture tasks as needed.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality results.

Requirements

Skilled Arborist with at least 2 years of experience climbing and running a bucket truck as a Crew Leader.

Valid DZ license (required) and clean driving record.

Experience operating bucket trucks and grapple saws (hoisting / engineering ticket an asset).

Strong leadership skills to manage a crew of three climbers.

Knowledge of tree species diseases and care techniques specific to Southern Ontario is an asset.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to learn with training provided for the right candidates.
