AR Associate-Quality Assurance

Status: Permanent Full time
Department: Finance
Reports To: AR Supervisor-Quality Assurance

Role Overview
The AR Associate-Quality Assurance will ensure accurate and reliable data entry in the Lifemark Patient System (LPS) after a service or product is recorded. This process ensures timely and accurate invoicing, effective collections, and streamlined reconciliation, optimizing cash flow and enhancing the funder experience. This role will be conducting thorough case reviews, following quality control measures, and validating billing data for compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct detailed reviews to ensure accuracy of treatment programs, fee codes and funder details for clinical services and or products provided to patients.
  2. Ensure all reports and corresponding forms (assessment, outcome measures, or funder-specific) are uploaded to the patient’s case for seamless invoicing submission to end funders.
  3. Identify discrepancies and errors in data entry such as patient intake forms, funder selections, and work with the clinics to resolve issues promptly.
  4. Monitor and identify key clinics or regions that require escalation for improvement.
  5. Update the status in LPS to enable billing once a case or service is confirmed as correct.
  6. Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance as required.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in billing, quality assurance, or a related role.
  2. College Diploma in accounting would be an asset.
  3. Strong knowledge of billing processes, data entry, and ability to adhere to changing regulatory requirements.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  6. Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  9. Experience with quality assurance best practices is a plus.
