We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Arabic Chef to join our team in Canada. This role requires an individual who is passionate about Arabic cuisine and can create authentic dishes to satisfy our diverse customer base. Role Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook authentic Arabic dishes, ensuring adherence to traditional recipes.
  • Design and curate seasonal menus based on local ingredients and culinary trends.
  • Oversee kitchen staff, providing training and guidance in food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage the sourcing of ingredients from suppliers.
  • Help coordinate and execute catering events, ensuring quality and attention to detail.
  • Innovate new dishes and modify existing recipes to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with management on marketing strategies that highlight Arabic culinary offerings.
  • Engage with customers to receive feedback and develop relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with food regulations and health standards.
  • Assist in budgeting for materials and labor, aiming for cost-effective processes.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss menu changes and improve operations.
  • Promote teamwork within the kitchen and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Support other chefs and staff in the preparation of meals during peak hours.
  • Attend culinary events to stay updated with industry trends and techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Arabic Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of various Arabic recipes and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to manage a team and train junior kitchen staff.
  • Excellent understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with menu design and food presentation.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with customers and team members.
  • Passion for culinary arts and willingness to experiment with new flavors.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  • Creative mindset with attention to detail in cooking and plating.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Previous experience in catering and event planning is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to adapt recipes accordingly.
  • Basic financial acumen to manage food costs and portion control.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English is highly desirable.
