Job description

Hours offered 40 hours per week (Part Time is available)

EcoLogic Consultants Ltd. is a consulting firm specializing in environmental assessment and permitting processes across Canada. They emphasize their core values and guiding principles in their operations, ensuring responsible and sustainable practices.

Key services include infrastructure permitting, technical reviews, monitoring / auditing, environmental assessments, terrain assessments, ecosystem mapping, contaminated site investigations, agricultural assessments, water quality assessment and monitoring, reclamation and rehabilitation, and aquatic and wildlife biology services. We have extensive experience in providing senior guidance to the environmental assessment and permitting process, throughout Canada and beyond.

Reporting to the Controller, the AR Coordinator / Project Biller will provide high level support to a fast-growing enterprise. You will be a key member for the team that will help streamline and optimize performance.

Responsibilities :

  • Quality control of staff time entry
  • Accurate invoice creation and timely delivery
  • Provide client support for payment-related issues
  • Manage client payment and delinquent account processes
  • Reconcile payments with accounts receivable ledger
  • Become proficient at using our time and billing software
  • Assist Controller and AP Coordinator as needed
  • Support with general office administration when needed
  • Professional and courteous communication
  • General office duties and upkeep

Requirements :

  • Accounting certification or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Minimum experience of 5 years in an AR or Project Accounting role
  • Understanding of full cycle accounting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software
  • Experience with QuickBooks Accounting software
  • Experience with time and billing software
