Job summary

A leading employment agency is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract position in Ontario. Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Formulas).
  • Experience with SAP is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Process a variety of payment types through SAP with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Investigate and resolve all unapplied payments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support AR-related needs.

Our client, a respected leader in their field, is seeking anAccounts Receivable Specialistto join their growing team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). This will be a 6-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent!

Benefits & Perks:

Responsibilities:

  • Process a variety of payment types (EFT, Wire Transfer, Cheque via Lockbox, Bill Payment, Credit Card) through SAP with accuracy and efficiency
  • Investigate and resolve all unapplied payments
  • Complete AR maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Perform AR reconciliation to bank clearing accounts
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with internal KPMG controls
  • Manage the AR functional mailbox and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support AR-related needs

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in an accounting-related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an Accounts Receivable or similar accounting role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, Formulas), Word, and Outlook
  • Experience with SAP is an asset
