Job description

Overview

The AR Associate Coordinator – PAD / Echeck / High Risk is responsible for managing the PAD and Echeck collection portfolio. They will complete all maintenance required to successfully set up a customer for automatic payment processing. The individual ensures an elevated level of customer service and customer loyalty by responding to customer inquiries and investigating. They will perform system maintenance to update all applicable systems as required to make sure the portfolio is in current aging status. They will review and resolve all exceptions. They will ensure all customer and field inquiries/issues are actioned timely and appropriately. The role is also responsible for managing our high-risk collection portfolio which involves working with the collectors to determine final collection strategies and in some cases preparation for a collection agency. Success in this role will require advanced collection experience, results driven behavior, strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong technical ability.

Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned accounts receivable portfolio of customers. Initiates follow up calls as required to support auto payment processes.
  • Review portfolio aging to make certain all balances are being auto processed.
  • Perform all maintenance to manage the PAD and E-Check automated payment processes including updating customer information into our systems such as terms, banking information and customer linking as required
  • Resolve all PAD/E-Check NSF payments by contacting customers to reprocess and resolve any outstanding balances.
  • Manage PAD/E-Check exception process to make sure all issues are resolved timely and appropriately
  • Work closely with customer maintenance to resolve all setup related issues.
  • Manage high-risk customer collections by working closely with the collection team to ensure smooth transition into the final collection strategy to successfully resolve all past due balances.
  • Consult with Sales and customers for additional information to resolve payment issues.
  • Prepare customer packages for all final account transitions to collection agencies.
  • Support the team with reporting and administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Participate in monthly staff meetings and one-on-one meetings with your supervisor.
  • Support all aspects of GCS including adherence to PepsiCo’s policies, values, and code of conduct.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of experience in AR Credit, Collection or Risk Management in a computerized environment using web-based AR application, preferably SAP.
  • Hands-on experience dealing with third party collection agencies
  • Diploma/degree in business related field of finance/economics
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
  • Strong MS office skills particularly with excel, outlook, teams etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to build relationships, improve processes and communication
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
