Qualifications

• Current National Lifeguard certification (NL).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Intermediate/Standard First Aid & CPR-C.
• The Town covers costs for required certifications and training.

Responsibilities

• Lifeguard duties: supervise pool, deck and viewing areas; respond to emergencies; enforce pool rules.
• Instructor duties: set up swimming lesson equipment; prepare lesson plans; manage attendance and worksheets.
• Receptionist duties: control of entrance, collect admission and program fees, enforce public policy.
• Senior Guard: supervise junior staff during evenings and weekends as needed.
