The Government of Manitoba seeks an Aquatic Invasive Species Watercraft Inspector to enforce regulations, inspect watercraft, and educate the public. The Aquatic Invasive Species Watercraft Inspector plays an integral role in enforcing Manitoba’s Aquatic Invasive Species Regulation. Responsibilities include inspecting and decontaminating watercraft and water-related equipment, communicating with and educating the public about the Province’s Aquatic Invasive Species Program, and promoting stewardship practices to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species in Manitoba.
Successful candidates will be expected to work evenings, weekends, including statutory holidays, and outdoors in various weather conditions. Roving positions require travel throughout Manitoba for extended periods, coordinating site plans, and communicating with landowners and provincial staff.

RS1 $1,706.40 - $2,056.00 bi-weekly plus remoteness allowance, if applicable.
Please note that candidates for roving positions must meet the criteria of driving trucks and hauling trailers.
