Located in Leduc, Alberta (just outside of Edmonton) we’re a great place to work with an informal atmosphere, professional standards and ongoing opportunities for our people to develop and grow.
Earn your designation as an Overhead Door Technician under Alberta’s Apprenticeship and Industry Training Act. Trained, experienced technicians can earn more than $35/hr. We are a leader in the creation of this designation, and currently have one apprenticeship training slot available. Here’s how it works:
You complete both hands-on and written training:
Your work days will always be varied and interesting as you learn to tackle a wide range of overhead door and electric operator problems. Work is in-town, Monday– Friday 8AM– 4:30PM, making family life easier. Leduc Overhead Door inc offers an excellent benefits plan after a 90 day probation period. And if you seek to maximize your earnings, additional weekend and evening work is available.
A total of 1,000 hours (approx. 6 months of full-time work) of hands-on training and completion of the written training must be completed before being eligible to write the Provincial exam.
If you’re mechanically inclined, comfortable working with basic tools and equipment, have a valid driver’s license and are able to lift 75 lbs., please give us a call, email or drop by between 10AM– 2PM Monday- Friday.
