Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Complete repairs and services as per assigned repair orders.
  • Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems.
  • Review work orders and discuss work with service advisors.
  • Provide repair recommendations to service advisors.
  • Utilize computer to document repair progress.
  • Stay up-to-date on factory training and manufacturer requirements.

Automotive Service Apprentice Technician

Kieswetter Mazda is looking to add to our growing service department. As southwest Ontario's largest Mazda dealer, our shop is always busy. Join our team as our newest Apprentice.

Qualifications
  • Registered 3rd/4th year apprentice
  • Must hold a valid Ontario Driver's License
  • Detail oriented, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills and computer literacy
Responsibilities
  • Complete repairs and services as per assigned repair orders, using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
  • Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems using diagnostic tools
  • Review work orders and discuss worth with service advisors
  • Provide repair and servicing recommendations to service advisors and discuss parts availability with parts department
  • Utilize computer to punch on and off jobs and document repair progress and diagnoses
  • Stay up-to-date on factory training, recall notices, service actions and other manufacturer requirements
Wages and Hours
  • Flat rate hourly pay, negotiable based on experience
  • Monday to Thursday, 8am - 5:30pm
  • Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
  • Saturday shifts during spring / fall tire season (4-8 per year)
