Job description

As an Apprentice, you will become an essential part of our team, supporting the creation of exceptional indoor environments. Guided by experienced Journeymen and Foremen, you’ll develop your skills in installation, safety, and planning while contributing to projects that reflect our commitment to Perseverance, Innovation, People, and Excellence.

This role provides the foundation for your journey toward becoming a Journeyman, fostering growth through hands-on experience, mentorship, and collaboration.

Interpret architectural, interior design plans and mechanical drawings / specs

Layout and cut pathways for installations

Cut and prepare sheet metal ductwork and fittings

Install various forms of ductwork (Rectangular S+D, Snaplock and Spiral)

Pull refrigeration line sets (rough-in)

Install fans, HRV's, AHU's, and other HVAC equipment

Communicate with the foreman and PM

Use of power tools (hole hog, drill, sawzall, grinder, hammer drill)

Use of hand tools (Snips, Bar folder, SM hammer, crimpers)

Read and interpret drawings

  • Minimum 1st year apprenticeship complete
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the industry
  • Experience with service & residential HVAC systems
  • Good code knowledge
