Job summary

Ironwood Modular Solutions is seeking a motivated Plumber Apprentice to join our plumbing team at our new modular manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will have a basic knowledge of plumbing processes and hands-on experience working under a Plumbing Supervisor, installing and testing plumbing systems in residential modular homes.

We offer year-round employment in a controlled environment, a company pension plan & full benefits, plus an overtime top-up of $3/hr and a minimum of 3

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a plumber apprentice.
• Completion of first and second year in-school apprenticeship training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-driven with attention to detail.
• Physically able to perform duties (lifting, climbing ladders, working at heights).
• Competitive apprentice wage based on experience and apprenticeship level.
• RRSP Contribution Plan.

Responsibilities

• Build plumbing subassemblies as required.
• Rough in plumbing supply and drain lines in floors and walls.
• Rough in plumbing for showers, tubs, and washer/dryer.
• Install vent stacks in walls and roof.
• Thoroughly inspect all connections.
• Install sinks, taps, toilets, hot water tanks and fixtures.
• Follow National/Provincial Plumbing Code regulations.
• Participate in safe work practices
• Maintain positive, professional business relations with clients and coworkers
