Job summary

Magicuts in Woodstock, Ontario is seeking a committed Stylist-in-Training/Apprentice to start hands-on with real clients from day one. You’ll learn by shadowing senior stylists, deliver great client experiences, and support front desk tasks while developing techniques and confidence.

This role emphasizes on-the-job training, mentorship, and clear pathways to full licensure, with hourly pay and potential tips. The team environment is energetic and inclusive, focused on growth.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of cosmetology license or journeyperson COQ.
• Strong customer-service orientation and client-first attitude.
• Willingness to learn through hands-on practice and mentorship.

What You'll Do:

• Perform haircuts, styles, and basic services under mentor supervision
• Deliver an outstanding client experience with energy and professionalism
• Shadow senior stylists and managers to learn advanced techniques & best practices
• Help manage front desk, scheduling, and client communication
• Pitch in with salon upkeep and follow top-notch safety standards

Pay Range

$35,000 - $45,000 Annual
