A leading service provider in the energy sector is seeking Apprentice Electricians for a 4-month project in Wood Buffalo, AB, starting January 12, 2026. The role involves a 14 days in/7 days out schedule with 10-hour workdays, camp accommodation, and benefits. FLINT is seeking Apprentice Electricians with Oil field experience for a 4-month project in Wood Buffalo, AB starting January 12th, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a 14 days in & 7 days out schedule, 10-hour workdays, camp accommodation, travel pay- varies, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as Apprentice Electrician in Oil Feilds.
  • Valid Apprentice Electrician certificate/ticket.
  • 3–5 years of industrial electrical experience, preferably in oil sands or heavy industry.
  • Skilled in EHT installation, LV cable terminations (120V–600V), and instrumentation wiring.
  • Ability to read electrical drawings and complete QA/QC documentation.
  • Capable of working safely in extreme conditions and following permit-to-work systems.
  • Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
    • CSTS-2020
    • H2S Alive
    • Aerial Work Platform
    • Fall Protection
    • Standard First Aid
  • Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Must have own reliable transportation to site.

This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
