Job summary

Placements24 seeks an Apprentice Bricklayer in Kimberley to start a structured training path in masonry and basic construction. You will learn to lay bricks, blocks, and other masonry units under experienced masons, while developing practical skills and safety on site.

Successful candidates will participate in hands-on projects, receive mentorship, and have opportunities for future full-time placement within the construction team in Kimberley.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit, with good stamina and coordination.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Commitment to producing high-quality work and safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced bricklayers with mortar preparation and laying bricks, blocks, and masonry units.
• Learn and practice laying techniques per specifications and blueprints.
• Mix mortar and concrete to required proportions.
• Clean excess mortar from surfaces and tools.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment on construction sites.
